All of the staff in our office are professional, courteous and eager to assist each and every patient. Each person has a caring attitude and a desire to make the treatment and management of your illnesses and problems as easy as possible. The office runs in a casual atmosphere with special effort made to help the patient and their family feel in control of their medications, disease and treatment.
Amanda O., APRN-C
Amanda joins our office as a family nurse practitioner. She obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Kansas. She is passionate about working together with patients to achieve their healthcare goals. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and her two young, energetic boys!
Courtney M., LPN
Courtney has always wanted to be in the nursing field and thoroughly enjoys it! In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and friends. Courtney is working on her RN, BSN.
Colleen W., LPN
Colleen joined us when she moved back to the Kansas City area from Denver nine years ago. She enjoys patient care and loves to laugh. Having grown up in St. Louis, she is an adamant Cardinals fan. She has one grown daughter and several nieces and nephews. And of course the “light” of her life, her granddaughter, SAW!!!
Ashley C., LPN
Ashley can be found giving allergy shots and taking nurse calls. She loves spending time with her husband, 3-year old son, and 2 dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys camping and spending time at the lake with her family. Ashley enjoys helping others and plans to further her education in the nursing field.
Stacey P., RN
Stacey came to our office from Ortho/Neuro/Trauma at a hospital here in Overland Park. She also has a background in long term acute care as well as caring for those with Alzheimer’s/Dementia. She has always had a passion and drive to care for others which is what lead her to start a career in nursing. She enjoys spending her free time with her family. She has two children who keep her busy outside of work with sports and other extra curricular activities.
Ashley W., RN
Ashley joined the office in 2017 after graduating from UMKC in 2016 with her BSN. She has always had a passion for caring for others and learning about the astounding human body. She has a boyfriend and a pomeranian-yorkie that she loves very much. In her free time she enjoys watching her favorite TV shows, going to parks, working out, and traveling.
Becky C., LPN, DIPH, NRP and IV Certified
Becky came to our office from labor and delivery background at a natural birth center in Overland Park. Before she became a nurse, later in life, she traveled extensively to multiple developing countries providing basic care and accessing felt needs to at-risk children residing in orphanages. She currently enjoys country living where she gardens, raises small livestock, kayaks, walks country roads and enjoys nature with every season. She especially loves relaxing rides on her motorcycle taking in the scenery. Asthmatics and allergy patients, like herself, can be confident in receiving quality care at our office so they can live a life as they desire.
Sarah B., RN
Sarah joined our office in 2015 after working in family practice for several years. She enjoys the challenge of working in the specialized field of asthma, allergy and immunology. Sarah and her husband had their first child, a daughter, in 2016. They enjoy going to parks, coffee shops, and traveling with her. They are also very active in various ministries at their church and renovate homes on the side.
Jenny S., RN
Jenny is a graduate of St. Luke’s College of Nursing with a BSN. She worked at St. Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza for 10 years in trauma, urology, pre/post anesthesia and ENT prior to coming to the practice. She enjoys reading, running, walking and biking with her husband and daughter.
Casey G., RN
Casey joined our team in the Spring of 2017. This is her first time working in an outpatient clinic, and she says it feels like home. Casey is an avid foodie and tea (and coffee) lover. She enjoys doing anything outdoors, and traveling.
La’Kenya ., Receptionist
La’Kenya is our front desk receptionist. You might speak to her often over the phone and she will be the first to greet you when stepping into our office. She enjoys watching movies in her free time!
Anusha I., CNA/Scribe
Anusha grew up in Leawood, KS and graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Human Biology. Prior to working with us she worked in a research lab and at an assisted living facility. She is currently working towards her goals in the medical field. In her free time she enjoys volunteering, doing yoga, and playing tennis.
Christina A., M.S./Scribe
Christina is a native of Leawood, KS. She holds a masters degree in Health and Human Performance from Pittsburg State University. She is an adventurous soul who professionally danced in San Francisco, and has recently returned to pursue a career in the medical field. In her free time she enjoys teaching dance classes in the Kansas City area.
Leslie W., Scribe
Leslie has a background in environmental science with an emphasis in human health. She works as a scribe and a medical writer researching diseases that affect our patients. Leslie and her husband have 3 sons. She enjoys volunteering for the high school band (usually building marching props), attending KU games to hear a son in the band, singing, gardening, and raising monarch butterflies. They have 2 Pyrenees mix dogs that also keep them very busy.
Krista W., Office Manager
Krista can be found in the office multitasking, such as answering the phones or filing a claim. She obtained a degree in Health Information Technology. She is originally from Orange County, California and enjoys line dancing and country concerts.
